Anyone who uses the Hornady L n L O.A.L gauge can also measure chamber length. Using the Sinclair chamber length gauge with your modified L n L case by trimming the neck enough (may be 0.10") to allow for trim to length overall measurement. You can by using the Sinclair tool in place of the bullet get a very good case length for your particular chamber which may reduce the amount of case trimming necessary. The Sinclair tools are caliber specific, machined to caliber and O.D. of case neck but are inexpensive.
