It's going to be interesting to see where all of these sales shake out. There are still things coming to light in the Remington sell-out. It's getting difficult to know who owns who. Smith & Wesson's realignment is yet to be finalized. I remember back when PARA sold/merged . . . "nothing was going to change, it would be great for PARA in the long run." Where are they now???

I wonder what CZ is looking for ? I suspect it's a tie in to keep the domestic market open. A few years back, Colt's big assets were a tradename and some other IP. There has been some retooling in the last few years. I wonder if it's enough to sustain a presence for CZ on this side of the pond.
The practice of venture types buying firms (like Remington), wringing the cash out of them and then disposing of them is really raising Cain with a lot of productive entities. I think all of you are old enough to remember The Leisure Group and how they ran a bunch of firms into the ground. (Ben Pearson Archery, etc. At least Lyman emerged relatively unscathed. )

On a related note this morning's Shooting Wire reports that Baretta has acquired Holland and Holland. Speculation was Baretta wanted to maintain a presence in Britain post-Brexit. Also cited was manufacturing capacity.
