Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Thanks for the link, Larry. I was surprised New Hamster was a middle of the pack entry. In general, things are pretty friendly, in spite of the close call on the Red Flag stuff.

Thanks Larry for sharing this. I'm quite suprised that my state of PA is not further down than it is.

No Larry I don't think you would gleefully do such a thing,...........the heck I don't! By the way those are good looking pups enjoy them! We are getting a Tri color Aussie in about seven weeks ourselves.

Poo ~ Yes the profile picture is new (this morning, in fact). Bob ~ Glad to hear you're getting the pup soon. Raising a pup is the most work you'll ever enjoy Mine are 5 months old already . . . They weighed less than five pounds when I brought them home at eight weeks old; now the male is 35 pounds and the female is 31 pounds. They are doing great and life is much brighter watching them learn something everyday. Here's a little video I've come to truly enjoy:

NM used to be about the gun friendliest state anywhere.....then the SantaFe/Albuquerque Liberals somehow blindsided the state.....now we gun owners are having to fight hard to keep them. I haven't had a dog since I was a pre-teen youngster. My wife's father only had working cattle dogs that weren't exactly family friendly.....Aussies and Blue Heelers, so she was never into them much (her Dad told me once that "kids ruined his dogs" so he didn't encourage that) The wife started out scared of cats too. Probably 5 kids wrecking the place and making all kinds of infernal noise 24 hours a day, might have kept us from missing that tail-wagging companionship in the early years. Now in old age, after the 5 kids, we're not real sure we want "kids" again. Peace and quiet is okay when we get it.....which isn't often since there are 18 fun grand kids around, we usually see several every day. Still, I like dogs and they obviously sense that, because they for the most part like me too. Count your blessings....nice to have best friends close.
