Hal the political climate back then in the state of New York was no where near as toxic to the Second Amendment as it is now.

This is not looking good for the home team. I've been an NRA supporter for a long time, although I think it has shown some signs of becoming a little shopworn. We (and I include me) a chance to reorganize during the Trump administration when we weren't fending off the barbarians as immediately. Whatever. What are you looking at to take its place in your personal efforts ? I really like SAF- they've been the water carriers in litigation for years (Heller and McDonald were their project.) but legislatively, it seems we need a new, single voice.

I've been concerned with all of this for a number of years now.
I have very mixed emotions . . . I have supported the NRA with more than I could afford for way too long . . . until recently.
I hate the idea of how much money I have given to Wayne rather than to fight the real battles.
Something has to change but to Pooh's point where do we direct our funds for that "single point" of action?

Gentlemen "Gun Owners of America" has been a fighting force as well. Then Senator Harry Reid stated the GOA was worse than the NRA for Democrats to deal with.

My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
Pooh I hope you find to right house .
