Well it happened again, a .22 jumped out and tackled me at the LGS. We fought for some time but in the end the little standard wood 10-22 grabbed my wallet right out of my pocket and took it to the cash register and before I could intervene gave the store owner the money now I have to go back in 10 days and collect the rifle and put in a safe place to protect others from a similar attack.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

SO-o-o-o . . . . if we each buy one or two it would relieve the burden on one of us from having to buy too many ? ? ?
It's great to be part of this team! Always looking out for each other ! !

Now for me I have been intrigued by the Marlin 60. My son-in-law bought his toward the end of small game season of the 19/20 season. Now I also like the Ruger 10/22 and their are other on that concept. Now if I start thinking on all of these my head is going to start hurting.

Pooh, I wanted one that I could just shoot and enjoy rather than shoot and enjoy but with care. My other 10/22 is the checkered walnut stock version.

A disease worse than crack. LGS has a CZ 22lr I can't get my eyes off of. Kind of like a hooker standing on the corner.

Picked up the new 10/22 this morning and went to the ranch where I keep my "Tonka Toys" and fired a magazine or two and this rifle is minute of squirrel at about fifty yards even with open sights. I plan on receiver sights fot both 10/22s. Fun Gun !!

Minute of squirrel at fifty yards with the open sights. Well that is a keeper right there for sure. Any 22lr that is minute of squirrel is a keeper and you'll find groups will tighten up with improved sights that you put on later.

You're making me jealous. I only have Sportsman's Warehouse here.....I stay out of there for a reason.....it's cheaper that way.
My 10-22 I bought in collage at a grocery store for $52. It was the first semi auto I ever owned....in our hilly country, we have no squirrels, just cottontails. I was mean in those days. I killed a few rabbits, but mostly I liked to just chase them up the hills with that quick fire. (.22 ammo was cheap in those days!) Those rabbits will testify against me at the judgment bar, probably. My boys have my first two semi-auto rifles....one the 10-22 and the other the mini-14. Too old to buy more guns.....I'd just give them away....but probably will anyway.
I still have two semis left.....Ruger AR-15 & Remington AR-10 clones. Crazy maybe, but I liked the ones I gave away better. More fun to shoot when they are more comfortable to shoot. AR's aren't known for comfort imo....give me an old fashioned wood stock.
