Well guys I do turn 65 next week and the month or so before I took the measures to get my Medi=Care and what other needs put in place and all became active on 01=01=2022. Our New Years meal here is pork and sauerkraut along with mash taters. Well aroun 10:00 that night I gat pain starting in stomach the around to right side the back When it hit my right side first thought my liver agai. I went to hospital got admitted went through test they found Gall stones blocking the ducts. The surgery plans go through the esophagus to get the stones the three little cuts to put the scope and tools in to remove the gall bladder. Well they saw that the gall bladder was fused to the liver. So they had to do go the old faishion way and open me up and more or less carve it of the liver. Complication they hit an artery I lost 2 liters of blood they gave me two units. Yes if they could not have stopped it I would have checked out on the table. So I'm recouping and have soreness but moving around better. This puts a big damper on the remainder of small game as that end the end of Feb. I never thought Iwould use my Medi=Care that damn quick. So not sure if I hold the record for fastest draw.
Oh I have seen a new hand gun that has features that I like a lot. Will post soon.

There are some records that are not necessarily a good thing to go after. I guess yours is better than holding the record for being the closest guy to miss being covered; if you had done all that on New Years Eve. Please take care of yourself . . . you young guys need to realize that you are getting older.

Gary, as Snap Shot said you youngsters have to realize you're trying to catch up with us and it aint easy.
What I'd like to know was it Pooh's cookies or your coffee that caused the problem? At any rate I'm glad you made it, please take care of yourself.

Pooh. I;m coming along. I;m taking my meds I gave myself my last shot in the belly to counter blood clots if they should form. I get my staples out next Tue. The soreness is subsiding.

I need to check in more often. Gary I'm glad you came through it and hope & pray that your recovery is easy for you. There's too much snow to wade through now so don't worry about the small game.

Thanks JB. Today I got the staples out. As far as snow in concerned so far not a whole lot as of yet. Looking at try to get out for the last couple days of small game with the grand kids.

Well I talked with my insurance agent that help me set up my Medicare and found that I don't have the record as I was told that people have put off havingthings done until the day their's went into effect. I was informed last week that i passed the stent that was placed in my pancreatic duct. If I had not they would have had to go in and get it.

My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
Pooh I hope you find to right house .
