Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Thanks once again, Hacker ! I've often wondered about the impact recalls have on marketing, Some may think, "boy, they goof up a lot". I'm inclined toward "they keep at it until they get it right".

I just signed on to advise all of you abut this recall . . . Hacker, thanks for keeping us all informed.
Actually I have three (3) of the suspect pistols and am in the process of returning them to Ruger. I bought three of the pistols with the Arizona State Flag graphics for when I take the grandkids out plinking. They have consecutive serial numbers and fall in the suspect groups. They all three exhibit the failure mode when tested as outlined in the recall notice.
I'm with Pooh . . . I like companies that watch out for their customers. I'll let you know how the return and re-work goes. Too bad it's not a model they make in Arizona (about 4 miles from me) the return goes back to the NC Plant.

I sent the information from the three SR22's to Ruger and they called me this morning. We went through the examination over the phone and they are sure we have no problems nor reason for return. The technician on the phone was very informative and went through step by step checks with me. They seem to have this under control.
