No guys I'm not drinking a six-pack and Lee is not in that kind of business. I just found this out and this new press is to be available this August. Lee has come up with a six station press. That's one more than their Load Master. As you know I'm a fan of their stuff and thinking this one over. Also looks like the same base as the Lee Breech Lock Pro and Lee Pro 1000. So Greg I hope you look this over and give comment. leeprecision.com/SIX-PACK-RELOADING-PRESS.html

Looks interesting Gary, if I was a progressive, hand loader that is, I might be considering it.

Thanks Gary; it does look interesting but I too am an old single stage guy. With the exception of a Dillon Square Deal (their smallest and simplest progressive press) I use to reload plinking handgun loads in volume. Thanks again and keep posting about new stuff you find.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Looks good, as I'd expect from Lee. It should appeal to you as I get the impression you load a lot for your extended family ! I think you're right about Greg's take-he'd find some way to tweak it ! Thanks for the heads up !

I have seen the announcement, and am always interested in what those Gentlemen develop next. Six is better than 4 or 5 stations. What set me buzzing was their APP press. Why did it take so long to help single stage reloaders speed up their operations! Am I surprised Lee was the one that finally did? Not hardly. The Lee family has been as forward looking as they come. I've said this before, but what would tickle me the most is Lee buying RCBS from that d...d conglomerate, and make from it a new line of RCBS quality, Lee ingenuity. For example, when I first saw that APP run, processing brass at speed....I thought wow, think what a beefy RCBS Summit press could do with a similar case feeder....... So I decided to whip out Autocad, and print a few 3D PLA parts and find out.....
Now with a collator....or even just filling tubes....that's a really fast way to deprime and/or size.....and the Summit's got the weight to do even the biggest rifle calibers. The next question is whether a Forster, or a RockChucker could be made do that trick......

Greg your modifications and up grades never cease tp amaze me. I enjoy watching how they're done and seeing them in action.

You're being kind, thanks. So then, about the new 6 station progressive press......any price point known? Same Lee priming outfit I suppose. If I have enough time left in this life, I'd like to see a more sure priming system....which IMO is the weakness of every make of progressive in some form or another. From annoying to exasperating. the safest system was the Pro 2000 strip system, but it was not perfect either. I quit using them altogether....bench priming for me.
The worst are tube priming systems for safety, but RCBS caved in and went back to them. But Lee's can make loud noises too! Which is why they have the baffle.

Well, I'm about 80% retired, so what I have is waaay too much time. Staying busy with this sort of thing keeps my mind active..... now if I can keep my body more active, I might have a chance at surviving a while longer. Maybe I need a dog like yours.......bet he keeps you moving....
My son-in-law bought home a Golden Retriever pup last year.....he's BIG now, and keeps him running.....keeps anyone running who comes around and shows him some attention.....wow....

People at THR.org are talking about the 6000. It appears that Lee has made a new priming system for it, so that makes me interested and curious. Richard Lee is all about improving his products and staying relevant. Hope he's successful with the 6 pack. Only trouble is.....then people will start expecting an 8 pack next year.

Okay Hacker! Thanks a lot! You sent me over the edge again! I went and ordered a Lee 6-pack pro.....should be delivered on Friday the 11th.
actually, I can't really blame Hacker at all. Maybe a little for bringing my attention to it. I ordered the basic press minus the powder measure and the shell plate, cuz they didn't have the 9mm kit I wanted. So my aim is to convert it to use an RCBS case-activated Uniflow powder measure (already have an extra with that linkage). One problem.....I'll have to buy my first 9mm pistol, or borrow one to test the ammo. See, my problem is, 1) I need a winter project 2) I help 2 of my Grandsons reload 9mm so I have dies.....3) I'm a sucker for new Lee presses after Hacker told me about the APP. What a charge that was....a single station press with a case/bullet feeder built-in! and 4) my wife doesn't carry in these dangerous times in this stupid blue state, with Mexican Cartels knocking at the door to my community. And she doesn't like my "powerful .357's, and .40's and .45's. Soo.....stay tuned and we will see if this new thang is any good. OK?

WOW!!!! Greg I didn't know that my soft subtle hints were that loud I hope you have good results with that project. Oh BTW I finally got to to some rounds on my Auto Breech Lock Pro Lee's four station press and also used my APP to run some new 380 brass through so I know that they are uniform before I load them on my old Pro 1000. I did post an update.

Good deal! Helps to feel good again.....with eyes working! I really don't have a good excuse for the 6-pack. Too curious for my own good.....and in winter I need new projects to keep me moving and out of the easy chair. And once it's set up in my reloading room, I have no more excuses to ignore 9mm. But....I drawn the line there....there never will be a .380 in my house or in my safe or in my future. Period.

OK, I have the Lee 6000 (six-pack pro) working with......9mm! Now I guess I'll have to buy a 9mm pistol.
1. Lee sizer 2. RCBS Uniflow with a "M" style powder thru expander 3. RCBS Lock out to insure powder level 4. 3D printed Bullet collator and feeder die 5. Lee Seater 6. Lee Taper Crimp Die
Works pretty smooth for such a cheap press........I think I like it!
I'm a little unsure and furtive in the video....but this is such a light press, I was just.....nervous and too careful. Didn't want to break anything....but there was nothing to worry about. Works great!

OK Greg, If I'm not mistaken you were interested in the priming system on this press. So what did you think of it and I will guess you'll come up with one of your upgrades.

The priming system is actually really, really good except that it can't feed the last three in the hopper. So plan on loading at least three more primers than you need, so you don't load the last three cartridges minus the primers. So what did I add to it? Just a temporary fix, in case I want to load the maximum and not have to make a few rounds, then have to take it a part and add three extra primers...... this mod just plugs in and allows the last three to feed and be loaded.
You'll have to make this video maximum full screen so you can see the magic happen. Just click the box at the bottom right of the video screen.
Gives the last three "the boot"! But can only be inserted when ONLY the last three are left. IOW's the "boot" has to be behind and above them to do any good.
The real fix would have to change the geometry of the Lee chute.....they are taking a personal interest in our threads over at THR so I'm thinking they might change the chute.....if not I will (if it's possible to do it and not adversely effect performance).

Well Greg I knew you wouldn't let me down. A nice little piece to get the last three to be used.
