The third round of 1911 offerings from CMP are being made available through the end of September.
I am not eligible because I got one in the first round.
Mine is in great condition and came in a new Pelican Case.
The prices aren't anything to write home about compared to current new 1911's but you're buying history.

The good part is there will be more for you.
My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
