Well guys my hunting buddy called me a few days ago and wanted to know if I go to the gun show. I asked where's this one as there wasn't one in Harrisburg, PA. He told me where and I said sure. We went yesterday Sun. 13th it wasn't a big show but was nice. So my main interest was large pistol primers either Win large pistol or CCI 350mag. Very few had primers and most were small rifle or pistol, A couple had large pistol in Win one at $100 and the other at $129 this one I said I'm glad that Powder Valley has sales. Well the guys there were not happy with my statement. Ya know that saying "If looks could kill" well I think with their looks I be wiped of the planet. Ok what did Hacker buy? I bought this compact handgun cleaning kit that will fit inside of my range bag and range box. I got the Real Avid Gun Boss Handgun Cleaning Kit. What I paid was $25 now if one goes online can find them for $19.99 now put shipping cost to that and it'll be about the same. Oh you wonder why I stated how ironic, Well remember a few years back in response to a mass shooting Dick's Sporting pulled all AR15s and anything that pertained to them. Well the show had plenty AR15s on hand. The irony is that this show was held in a former Dick's Sporting that still had some of their signs still around the place. www.realavid.com/product/gun-boss-handgun/The show had a celebrity. If any of you watched on the History channel the show called "Alone" this show pertained to survival. The person Rose Anna Moore and she is from my state. www.history.com/shows/alone/cast/rose-anna-moore

Gary ~ Sounds like a good outing . . . not as good as going hunting but still a good outing. That's the reason I go to so many gun shows. I rarely buy much but I like the interaction and I like to keep up on local prices. Plus I see guns that I once owned and wish I still had. That nostalgia is still something I'm working through with my therapist; she says I'm doing better. I often say that I have never sold a gun that I didn't at some point regret and that is true to this day. Not sure where I would put them all but . . . It sounds like your primer availability and pricing is about the same as this area. Some of the gun shops say they think the retail availability should be okay by Spring but some say they will settle in price wise around $100 / 1000. I've seen them at gun shows in the same area you mentioned but I find it interesting that those $150 guys don't seem to be selling any. ~ Keep your powder dry my friend, Larry

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Love the irony ! There was a small archery shop a couple of towns over that had a sign that said "They call it Dick's for a reason..."

I never set foot in Heads Sporting goods. Ever. What's Heads? Just the last part of the above stores name.....that they choose to try to hide. Doesn't work.
I don't go to gun shows any more......the last 3 times I walked until I dropped and found nothing I wanted.....least not at those prices. What happened to the guns shows of 20 years ago? Stupid and Greed.....and you can't fix either one.
