Well gentlemen today 11/26/2022 started our rifle season for deer here in PA. This is the third year that we can now use semiauto shotguns for deer. Semi shotguns up till then were only legal for small game, upland bird, turkey, and waterfowl. So back to the deer. I've gotten with break action single shot with bolt action with lever and with pump. Now I can add a nice 8 point with my semi shotgun. Oh I missed a doe earlier before this 8 point showed up.

Enjoy! This must be the year of missing. Two of my friends and I als0 missed on the first animal all got the second one.

Bob the 8 point was the third deer I saw. About 15 to 20 minutes later coming the opposite way was deer number two. At first I'm thing OK another doe that was smaller than the other. Got ready but as it got closer I can se it was a fork horn/y-buck and was not legal for me but legal for my two youngest grandsons. The youngest wasn't with today but my middle one was but not with me. Instead I put him with my good friend and hunting buddy. They didn't see any deer. The 8 point was being shot at and ran towards me. So I got. That guy that shot gave me congrats and said he fired twice then his rifle jammed.

Yes Pooh I have a roast set aside for Christmas as I'll be running the smoker. Either the wood fired or the electric one.

My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
Pooh I hope you find to right house .
