Yes you read a new straight wall cartridge for those states that now make them legal to hunt with. Since certain states that only allowed shotgun for deer season that now allow centerfire but have to be straight wall and also meet a max case length. The 350 Legend seem for now the king of the hill as sales go. Well this new one is the 360 Buckhammer. Remington developed the round and Henry Repeating Arms is first to have rifles. This differs from the 350 Legend as it uses .358 dia. bullets like the 35 Whelen, 358 Win, and the 35 Rem. The parent case is the 30-30 Win. The 350 Legend uses .355 or 9mm bullets. Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Hacker, it's hard to keep track of the new arrivals. I wonder how some of these will shake out. Of course, fifty years ago, they were speculating about the 6mm Remington and the .243 Winchester. Thanks for keeping us posted !

I have mentioned it before, my '56 Gun Digest lists something on the order of 55 center fire rifle cartridges by Winchester and a similar number for Remington with a lot of overlapping. I couldn't begin to count todays loadings.
