The lever gun in handgun calibers is nothing new. This started back in the late 1870's early 1880's. I believe the first was the 1873 Win. in 44-40 then as those in the old west found it handy to carry on type of ammo for both handgun and rifle. That trend carries on today with lever guns from Marlin and Henry and Winchester. You have them in 357mag/38spl and 44mag/44spl and 45LC and also 41mag. Now how about something new and not in the realm of a revolver but in the semiauto handgun realm. One of the most popular semi rounds today is the 9mm. Now a rimless round in a lever gun is not new either. You have Savage with their 300Savage and 250-3000 and their is Marlin in 35Rem. Well guys I found two in 9mm. One in the UK and the other here in the USA. The one here is very pricey and not on my wish list to get. So look over the links and give comment. gundigest.com/rifles/first-look-pof-usa-tombstone-lever-action-9mmpof-usa.com/firearm/tombstone-9mm/

Interesting gun but not of my taste. I do have a lever gun and revolver in the same cartridge they are .22 WRM a Winchester 9422 and a Ruger Single Six I assume that qualifies.

Just returned from the 2023 ShotShow in Vegas. Handled a prototype with the guys from Bond Arms (the derringer guys) in Texas. They are in the process of an AR-15 Lower that is a lever action. You will be able to use it with any AR-15 upper. It's a long throw lever but really nice. The expected release is not until next year so I'll start saving up to get one. Another company (just a little guy getting into business on his own) has an AR-15 Hand-Guard that converts the rifle to Pump Action. It eliminates the charging handle completely. It is really slick!

I've probably already bought my last firearm....so I haven't cared to look at the new upcoming offerings. I think my "young at heart" attitude has left me for good. Just from what I was able to glean from the internet, RCBS seems to have given up on progressives, so I won't be expecting anything new and exciting in the green arena anymore. Nor did they show anything new except a die set....boring... Forster is coming out with an new updated model (looks expensive) of their Co-Ax. But I have no idea what the improvements are. Maybe SnapShot can tell us more. Did you see anything reloading-wise that caught your eye?

Larry, looking forward to more about the Shot Show.
I watched the video of the lever lower, I have to say if it's a lever gun it is supposed to have a wood stock and in most cases a wood forend, 'course as you probably are aware I'm not partial to the Armalite Rifle anyway. If you like them then enjoy em.

The Forster guys were showing a prototype of there BIG co-ax press geared to the 50 BMG guys. It's built from billet steel rather than cast and it is BIG.
There were a half dozen or so companies showing their ammo manufacturing equipment. It seems there is a demand for such equipment but not a lot showed up for the re-loading side. Dillon was showing their new motorized reloading presses and Lyman / Mark 7 has a few versions of their progressive and powered presses. The Mark 7 looks beefier and more commercial.

Bob ~ As you well know, MSR’s (Modern Sporting Rifles, aka AR’s) refer to the their grips, stocks, forearms, etc. as “furniture”. At the ShotShow I found a company that specializes in Wood Furniture for MSR’s. The company is WOOX LLC out of North Carolina, you can find them on-line at WOOXSTORE.COM If you ever take the plunge into the MSR world you might like it better if you have wood furniture. I completely understand your comment “ . . . guns are supposed to have a wood stock and a wood forend.”
