Verifying ones age is nothing new. One has to show proof of age to enter a bar or to buy alcoholic beverages at a distributor or restaurant that severs such type. You can include voting in this as well. If you check out a alcoholic site whether it be beer, wine, or liquor you can not enter their site unless you state your age. Well guys I don't know if you noticed or not I have come across some firearm and other sites related to firearms that are now asking if your are 21 or older. Not all sites have such but I'm wondering how long before all of them will have this. What do you guys think?

Hacker; I have not come across this on any websites yet but it does not surprise me to hear that you have. I was taught gun safety by a dad and granddad since I was old enough to walk; I started rabbit hunting when I was just five years old. I have been involved in hunter safety classes in the Boy Scouts and 4-H over the years and today we teach the Eddie Eagle classes, free of charge. My kids and my grandkids all had lessons in firearm safety before they were school age. They grew up in a home with loaded firearms, just like I did and learned the rules. I know California is moving toward and already implemented some age restrictions on firearms. The liberals are taking away liberties and freedom on many levels and this is one of their steps. I believe exposing young people to violence has a negative impact on them and the Video Games and Hollywood are doing more damage than we’ll ever know. The NRA’s Eddie Eagle Program is the path parents need to follow. Kids who are old enough to understand need to learn how to safely handle a firearm and what to do if one of their friends or classmates shows up with a gun. Project Child Safe is good lessons for parents who own and keep firearms in their home. I’ve come to learn that you can teach young kids firearm safety much easier than trying to teach liberals common since ! ! !
(it doesn't take a lot to get me on a soapbox, does it)
