Got bored I guess, but I decided to design and make a lights and camera option for Lee's new 6000 press. Printing as we speak..... and I ordered another $20 video camera from China. Below is the top view of the design:
And then here's a 3d view showing the meat of the thing. Center is the camera's spot, and on each side are recesses for two super brites LEDs (three lamps each) The holes in the center are for the wiring. Will work with a 12V wall wart. I'll bore you all with the results when the video camera comes in from China. Kinda like that 6000. Nice cheap press. Can do pistol and rifle both....even the big calibers.

Greg ~ I can't picture how this is going to work but with your track record I'm sure it will. Waiting for your video.

Larry, here's the video of the lights part.....I made more work for me with that. Lee's primer column had to be redesigned, too. Got it offset so I have have my cake and eat it too......lights and priming system that works. Think I'm going to like this press once I get used to it.
Plate is nice and bright, and the offset feeds primers fine. Win, win! But I need to open the "M" shelf just a little in the powder through expander, since Berrys Bullets, have a too big diameter bullet once in a while.....the one that fell over and forced me to feed it by hand......and then there's the first primer I thought I had to remove because there was no bullet yet there.....discovered I should have left it alone....it just goes back into the shuttle and waits for the next pull. Camera part is on its way from China......patience says the most impatient person I know.....me.
Lights/camera holder printed and in place below: Lights turned on and Redesigned primer column to miss the lights below:

Thanks Hacker....I think this was my last one. I'm just getting too old. I hope your projects turn out well. For me the most interesting times are the ones I live and work outside the usual box. You all have great lives!
