Too pricy for me..... Still early, and I haven't seen much in the way of user experience yet. But I AM still playing with my el cheapo Lee 6000. The latest 3d print project uses an RCBS rifle bullet feed die coupled with an RCBS Gold Medal seater (bullet inserting window above the die holder) to make a FeedNSeat in ONE station. Heres a couple of vids to show how it turned out in .223. First how the Subshellplate connects to it. Second, how is works.....first feeding to the seat die, then seating....simple, simple! Picture of the 3D printed parts......

Greg I enjoy watching your vids on you modifications and what 3-D printed parts you come up with. Today I received my Lee "Inline Bullet Feed" die and kit. I did post about it. This I have room for on my bench. Oh BTW I posted a thank you to you so hope you read it.

I did see your thankyou today....you're welcome. I've been away from the forum a few weeks....been busy playing with my Lee 6000 as you can see. The Lee Inline Bullet Feed is a great idea. RCBS only make ball bearing feeders for rifle, but Lee has done it (copying the 3D printed versions in steel and with a central spring instead of 2 add-on springs) for both rifle and pistol calibers! But nobody makes a window seater for pistol.....if enough ask Lee for such a thing we could do the same feed and seat for pistol as well as rifle! Keep your eyes peeled, because Lee is also about to release "M" style neck expanders in powder-through expanders. That will place a straight pocket inside the necks of brass to place bullets in straight and true, so they stay straight around progressive merry-go-rounds (shell plates). Both rifle and pistol. We now just need the windowed seaters....then we can do this: For pistol....Station 1: Size; 2: Prime/Charge/and "M" neck expand; 3: Powder Cop; 4: Feed AND Seat; Crimp. So would work with any 5 station progressive. For rifle using a 6 station (Pro 6000), Station 1: Size; 2: Prime & "M" neck expand; 3: Charge; 4: Powder Cop; 5: FeedNSeat; 6: Taper Crimp. I'm hoping to influence Lee or Titan to then make a commercial version of the feed and seat coupler for everyone. I should disclose that in my laziness I did not change the 9mm pistol shell plate to the .223 rifle shell plate and so the tall cartridges wobble in the test.....but in my defense....it was just a test of the FeedNSeat.

I shouldn't have said too pricey for me.....even if it's true now. After all I did buy RCBS's Pro Chucker 7. And this product isn't much more expensive than that was, but now try to buy one...PC7's are outrageous, if you can even find one, and you get a lot more from FA for the same money. Case feeder even, and 3 more stations! But things have become different for me....no longer interested in the expensive stuff....I'm slowing down, old fart becoming an even older fart. And what did I learn from the Pro Chucker 7? That it was not ready for prime time....I had to mod it to make it sing....and RCBS wasn't and still isn't interested in perfecting it. SO much potential.....wasted. RCBS is not the company they used to be, before they got bought out by and traded around by conglomerates. The non-reloader heads above the RCBS (division) itself, are only interested in quick cash, not building great companies. Lee is the real thing still....they are passionate about the hobby....as shown by the APP, Pro 6000, and their new inline bullet feeder dies.....and they are still interested in keeping the products affordable. Good for them. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with both the APP and the 6000. The single station guys here on this forum, ought to at least get an APP. It is an awesome time safer when prepping brass. And the 6000 is a game changer. If it had been available back in OBAMA January, I would not have even bought the old RCBS Pro 2000 back then, which was bought because I was getting too tired of swinging that RockChucker handle a million times for a hundred cartridges....okay exaggeration, but you get my point. The older I get the more I appreciate the progressives and the APP.

GW, I, unfortunately am forced by RCBS, agree with you. When I called about a K Hornet neck sizer and a extended shell holder they said they were no longer in the custom die business. What a shame. At least, for now, their warranty policy seems intact. Those bean counters spoil every thing they touch!
