I never did spill powder on the carpet but now if it would happen it would be easier to clean up.

Hacker, I did the tear out but my nephew who is a contractor with all of the tools put the new floor down. I still have a lot of stuff scattered through out the house that needs to be moved back in but I'd like to sand and put another coat of Polyurethane on the windows before I bury them with stuff again. I tried to post a pic of the deer but it said the file was too big. My Grandfather had shot that deer 80- 90 years ago and the mount had pretty much fallen apart over the years. I shot a big bodied small racked 8 point in 2012 and had Grandpa's deer antlers remounted. I'll try another pic of it later and see if it will post.

Very nice work area you've got there and that deer looks great there. It's nice to have your deer and your grandpas deer in one memory (well done).
The first time you sweep up a powder spill you'll be very glad to have the hardwood floor . . . it'll be a lot easier to find a dropped primer too.

Be it a den, a garage, a work shop, a TV room or what ever . . . a guy has got to have a place to escape. What's her name sends me to my room when ever life starts getting to me.
