Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

About two years ago I was on one of the threads moaning about not being able to obtain the Sierra Pro Hunter 150gr in .30 cal. At that time, I had been looking for at least six months. In the meantime, I have been hoarding my last half-box, loading only established loads and shooting only enough to confirm zeroes. Miracle of miracles, Midway beeped me the other day, and I ordered the maximum of two boxes. I am currently checking the tracking application every fifteen minutes... I suspect Sierra got occupied with their loaded ammo line. Whatever. I'll forgive them, at least for now...

Pooh glad to see that you got what you've been wanting. Have you check other sites to see if any out there? I know how hard it's to get certain bullets as certain Speer bullets are ghost as next to impossible to find.

It has been a bit of a crap shoot especially here as we can only use monolithic bullets on any animal. Hopefully it will get better.

Sounds like most of us have experienced the same issues. Sierra seems to have been shipping a lot of back orders in this area and Hornady bullets are much easier to find. However, I am still having a difficult time with Speer bullets. Their 110 gr Plinker for 30 M1 Carbine have been unobtainable for a long time. The Powder shortage has gone away but the "new" regular prices are about 25% higher And I don't want to mention the Primer problems. Availability is no longer an issue but the "new" regular prices are 3 to 4 times what the old prices were. This is the same story on-line and at local gun shops as well as the big-box stores. Just like gasoline prices . . . the price goes way up and then when it drops it NEVER goes all the way back.
