Yes Pooh 80K is a lot and the .277 Fury seems to hold that title. Now a 16 inch naval gun runs at 37K.

And the 16"Naval rifle throws that 2,700# bullet at about .30-06 velocities for a 25+ mile effective range with 9 rounds in a football field.

This would do it Pooh. The article I read was in Popular Science or the like. Also there is a barrel from the Missouri in our county, it weighs 247,000 lbs. 66'-8" (16"-50 caliber) long it's huge by itself. They were the same as coastal defense battery's guns.
