I just learned of this yesterday and must say it has my interest. Pooh you'll have to like the price point on this. This would be nice to take on a slow walk for rabbit and to sit for close in squirrel using the 410. I would not hesitate to use 45LC on deer. The Western Powders book has special loads 45LC in such a chamber like on the Taurus Judge and S&W Governor. Let me know what you guys think. www.thetruthaboutguns.com/rossi-announces-the-new-single-action-brawler-45-colt-410-pistol/

I’ve got the S&W Governor and really like it. I bought it a week after moving here (they are not legal in Kalifornia). They seem so much more solid and operate so much smoother than the Taurus. I haven’t hand loaded for it yet but I have the Western Powder Book so I’ll have to look into it.

Hacker, that price point is certainly attractive ! Interesting, although it would be a functional duplication of my Contender. (I have a lot of T/C stuff, since it, like me, was made in New Hamster, and they were generous with Hunter Ed discounts back before the baddies from Smith absconded with them.) Even so, this looks like a neat backup !

I was talking to a friend about this today, and the question arose as to whether they made it capable of swapping out barrels. At the lower price point people who missed out on Contenders or just like the novelty could buy in pretty readily. Now I've got to get my LGS to order one so I can look it over !
