Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Ok, here's another hare-brained question ! I inherited a rifle in '06, built in England on an Enfield action. It was my uncle's, and is really a period piece from the '50s and early '60s. It came with a Weaver K4 scope and the adjustments just aren't working and the coatings are fraying. My rational side says to ditch it, but there is the little angel on my shoulder saying I should get it refurbed. Obviously, Weaver is dead, but through the magic of Google, I've found a couple of places that suggest they can do such work. Have any of you used one of them, or know someone who has ? I've got another scope on it for now, and realize that the sensible thing would be to send it along, but...

Pooh, I posted about Weaver not being made two years ago. There is a place that does scope work on various brands and Weaver was one. Now they can't do all models but you can give them a call to see if they can do anything with yours.

There is aso a fellow in the Midwest who might help I was going to have him change a 3' Lee dot to a 2' dot in one of my Lyman All American scopes. I will see if I can find him for you.
