Well as the title says this was the last weekend for my area's deer season and I am happy too add that my .257 Rob'ts came through for me and killed a nice 3X2 buck Saturday morning. Now in about two weeks I will pick up my steaks, chops and sausage. Life is good.

Well congrats on your deer and enjoy the meat. Archery starts this Saturday Sept. 30th. After Oct. 2nd hoping to be cleared to hunt with the grandsons. I'll let the oldest two share my crossbow as I just sit and wait for squirrels.

Congratulations Bob; enjoy your rewards. I have a new pellet smoker, if we were closer . . .

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Archery season just opened here in New Hamster last week. I haven't been out, as I haven't practiced enough... Meanwhile, Bob, sounds like a good one, and I hope the memories match !
