I was at my local Saturday morning coffee and donut shop/dog meeting place/ and the real use of the shop gun and reloading store when a little bitty S&W 5 shot 2" .38 Spcl. jumped right in to my pocket. It would just not get out as it wanted to be with its larger brothers. I took pity on the little thing and let it come home with me, it does fit perfectly in my pants pockets so it probably has a place to stay.

Bob so good of you to give the little guy a nice home. I will take that this is of the J frame variety. Now is the of the old style or the newer. Old would be pinned barrel or later with firing pin on the hammer or frame mounted pin?

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Glad to hear about the little Bundle of Joy ! You may end up having so much fun, you'll have to get a progressive loader !

I've since fired 10 rounds, Thought I was shooting my .41 or .44 Mag. I did hit my target so confidence is good but will not shoot it a lot. Cute but not fun.

Maybe it'll grow another 4". Be patient, just a baby, right? Quite a few moons ago me and a buddy qualified together for conceal carry. In NM you have to qualify with each kind of hand gun at the maximum caliber you plan to carry......so for me it .45ACP pistol, and .357 revolver. For my friend he wanted to qualify for three..... .357 revolver, .45 pistol, and .45 long Colt DERRINGER!. We both did fine until he got to the .45 Derringer. He passed all right, but there was real tears and pitiful winches every time he pulled the trigger. I couldn't watch! What a horrible gun to have to defend yourself with.......so bob, I can relate a little. Just be thankful your 2 incher wasn't .45 Colt.
