Hi Hacker- I understand that RCBS operations will be staying in Bob's neck of the woods for now. Speaking of acquisitions, apparently S&W sold T/C back to the guy who sold it to them. Not sure what the sale includes-machinery, IP ? There are a lot of us up here in New Hamster who are not happy with T/C's fate. The way things are going in the firearms industry, I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription to Handloader and replacing it with the Wall Street Journal !

The talk around the coffee pot at my LGS seem to feel this sell back is a good thing.

The talk around the coffee pot at my LGS seem to feel this sell back is a good thing. That's because it is. I have an aquaintence at RCBS, one of their engineers. He is elated! Finally they will not have a big brother conglomerate who knows nothing about the business or industry, telling them they can introduce new products, but forget spending money on them for continuing R&D to improve them once out of the gate.
a few years ago Kent Sakamoto was product manager at RCBS. He quit I'm pretty sure, for that very reason. I didn't know where he went to, but now I know, since Hodgden just announced that he has been promoted from Hodgdon's territory sales manager to be the new national sales manager for the new RCBS.
Now maybe there's hope that their 7 station progressive will finally get the simple improvements it needs......and maybe even a electric collator to finish their case feeder. We can hope.....
More news.....more scarier.....is that Alliant has announced they are no longer selling canister powder......the result of their buy out to foreigners.

The Alliant news struck panic here in Poohville. I at least try to stuff Unique into anything brass in the first instance, and am reputed to sprinkle it on my oatmeal every morning...

Too bad you live in New Hamster and not Florida. There's a store down there that's still selling it for $35/lb. For how long? Probably not for long. I too use a lot of Unique.....none to be had here in New Mexico.

Beginning to look like a monopoly. Just watch Nancy and friends get their panties in a wad.
