I have been so flipping busy I haven't had time to load or shoot since late last year. I have about 10 days off coming up and will besides working on my new loading room and bench start working up a load for a Ruger M77 Predator 6.5 Creedmoor I picked up last month along with a load for my Win Mod 70 7RM. So what have you fellas been shooting? (its nice to be home again)

Chuck it's good to have you back home again. I'd been wondering how your new loading room was coming along.

Tell us about the reloading room. How far have you got to go before it is finished?

Chuck as of last night was having trouble getting back on here. He was getting the 404 ERROR message. I'll have to send him an e-mail to see what's up.

7mm Like you, I haven't had time for much of anything fun.
But, last weekend I ran a Muzzle loader station at a NWTF Jakes Day event. I sighted in 4 rifles to be dead on at 25 yards with a round ball and light charge. Put about 40 kids through my station. They had the choice of shooting at 4", 6" or 8" steel gongs. These kids are so competitive, most shot at the 4" and 90% had first shot hits.
It was a great day. In the interest of safety, all were advised not to breath the smoke due to its addictive qualities. Few paid attention.
Thankfully, I had some great help, including an active duty infantryman.
About half had never fired a rifle before. The Sargent asked one young lady about 10 y.o. if she had shot a rifle before. She looked him in the eye and said "I've shot a deer before". She put all the boys on notice when she banged the gong with authority. Big smiles all around.

BoysI have been to busy to do anything on the loading room. Since I left the Hub we opened a new location and are planning another in Tn. I spend 10 days a month on the road and the rest bouncing between our 2 locations. I have 10 days off coming up hopefully I will get some real work done. Sorry fellas but it is awesome to be back home again....... Hacker had to by-pass my Wifi router to get back in.......

Just got my custom 7 Stw back from the smith and took it to see if I could get it to group at 100 yards with reloads what a surprise the first load I check 2 cutting each other and one out about quarter inch. Could not be happier with the load it at 3250 fps with 140 sierra pro hunters and IMR7828 powder just a little tweaking on seating depth and it should be ready for bear season.

Here a target I did with my STW off Bi pods at 100 yards. This is after bumping the bullet out 5 thousandth and increasing the powder up 2 tenths of a grain
