Hi gents- the latest Rifleman arrived and there is information on the 2025 NRA Board election. Now, I think there are members of this group who would be great, I am not going to risk proposing that. If there are any good reform candidates running, I'd be willing to sign petitions and promote their candidacy. I think they need something like 400 signatures. Keep the Faith !

I have signed petitions a couple of times in years past and even helped gather support one year for what I believed to be a good candidate. Neither of those years did my man make it to the nomanated level. I would be willing to put the effort in for someone nominated by any of you.

Larry, if all of us could do that (I mean all NRA members-this group doesn't run things, although if it did, it would be an improvement !) it would be a start. I'm going to continue to agitate. Stay tuned !

As follow up to all this, I posted this on the NH Deer Hunter's Facebook page this morning. I'll be interested to see if I stirred something up.
Is anyone aware of reform candidates interested in the NRA Board of Directors ? I know we just had the annual meeting, but the nomination process is a year long thing. I would be happy to sign nomination petitions to help the process along. Please be in touch with contact information. To save a lot of time, I know NRA is damaged goods, that other organizations have of late been more effective in legislation and litigation the last few years. (Second Amendment Foundation, for example.) There is also the matter of the uncertainties related to the ongoing litigation in New York. With that, NRA has a lot of programs and infrastructure that are salvageable. I know the cool kids will decry this, but I think the only way to be sure this effort fails is to listen to the cool kids. Thanks !
