As I had stated in a prior post I had surgery on Nov. 12th. It was to install plugs and stents. Well the stent part was a no as it thought being the smallest dia. was bigger than the vessel so that was a no. They did put in two plugs. There's a medical term for the plugs and I don't have that info at hand right now. The operation went fine it was after I had issues that was not good. As I was recovering my blood pressure dropped to dangerous level of 50/? which is getting to check out zone. My surgeon order an emergency CAT scan to see what was going on. In simple a had a spontaneous bleed which I found out was from my abdominal wall just below the naval and it was no where near where they had to do things. So I'm on the mend and doing really good. I also asked the discharge team what are my restrictions so the wife doesn't yell and scream at me. I was told (No chopping wood) I said OK!!
Now rifle deer starts Nov. 30th. Now here is where I will be support person as I will not be carrying a firearm. I will have my knives deer drags and bags for heart and liver. Oh and be a look out to. Maybe I'll be be up to standard by the end of the season and carry a firearm. If not I have flint lock season the day after Christmas. I do go for another CAT scan on Dec. 16th. It is to see that what was done has not changed.

Friend Gary ~ You have been giving the doctors too much business . . . you need to support other businesses in your community. Seriously, please follow instructions and don’t rush things. We’ll keep you in prayer and we’re sending all the best wishes for your recovery.

Gary, as Larry said you're giving the local medics way too much of your money which should be going to hunt related businesses. I'm very sorry you're going through all of this so follow Dr's instructions and take good care of yourself. Hoping for fast healing.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.
