Well since we have a dedicated for the AR platform I thought that this will fit in just fine. I also had this posted at the Hub. Lyman has out for some time now a reloading book just for the AR platform. The book covers everything that the AR platform is chambered in. From the .223/5.56 to 50 Beowulf. There is even cast bullet loads for select calibers. Very informative front chapters on the case prep and ins and out of the AR. The copy is more available now. Check with you on line suppliers to see if they have it.

I already have Zediker's Competitive AR build and guide book. My plans are to thoroughly research all things AR, (as I did with the Ruger 1022) before starting on my next full custom build.

Ken, Yes I do have a copy. It goes over your typical case prep. A section on cartridge confusion with 7.62x51 Nato vs.308 Win and of course the 5.56x45 Nato vs .223 Rem. Short write up on the Wylde Chamber. There is also a section on "Federal Definition of a Semi-Automatic Assault Rifle" This section is written by a retires ATF senior special agent. Sections on suppressors and how to load for them. Oh and a special section for loading the 204 Ruger in the AR. This book deals in the reloading of the cartridges for the AR doesn't cover builds. Over al yes I do like this book as I stated a informative front chapters and another source of data to cross reference with. Since I am just starting to load for one (son-in-law's) I have found it most helpful for me.

However, reading about reloading for the AR and all the variants will be most helpful with my next build, (which most likely be an AR). The "Federal Definition of a Semi-Auto Assault Rifle" also sounds very interesting too. Also ... I had no idea that there needed to be a special consideration for loading for suppressors. Thanks! Ken
