When I set this forum up I thought the shoutbox feature would be a great way for us to communicate live! I started to notice a few discussions that were taking place in shoutbox that I thought should be in a tread but only because the shoutbox auto deletes after awhile therefore the info either has to be repeated or is just lost. So I wanted to put it to the members.
I setup this poll because I've notice that for a couple of days now the shoutbox hasn't been used. If you guys think it is useful will keep it, if it is a used and unwanted toy I'll make it go away.

It's kinda nice to have a feature to holler at another member that you see is online.....but of course you can do the same thing by sending a p.m. Both have the same limitation as texting on a phone. You can send one, but unless the other party answers....even to just acknowledge receipt, you don't know if communication really occured.

I see answers........but more often.....nothing. So the result is what you see.

If you decide to ax the shout box, then perhaps you can figure a way to make personal messages more noticeable? Maybe a little sound...gunshot would get my attention!
