Hello Everyone; I am creating this thread, and will make it a sticky.
The idea here is to post components and ammo that become available so others here can "jump on it".
Especially of interest are: Powder, (especially pistol powders) Primers Projectiles, (blemished, good deals, etc)
Ammo, (especially .22LR)
I will be going through this thread periodically. If this thing gets cluttered, then I may delete any out-dated posts. Basically, this will be like a "heads-up" for other members of our community as deals become available. Usually, this stuff does not last long.
We shall see.

I consolidated all of my posts in this thread into a single post. This should make it easier to get to the specific websites mentioned. I am continually checking to see if the posts and sales are still on-going. I will delete the stale ones and keep modifying new ones as more stuff becomes available. ... Ken 1. Bill Zimmerman, over at Hi Tech ammo, has Surplus Pistol Powder for sale at $100 / 5lb. The load profile for this stuff is supposed to be the same as for Universal. 2. Midsouth Shooters Supply has a sale on 168 grain BTHP .308 Match King bullets. The deal is $149 / 500 3. Midsouth Shooters Powder Supply appears to be steadily increasing ... the prices look pretty good too. 4. Wideners has a very good supply of 168 grain BTHP match bullets on sale 5. I can't believe it! Finally a company that sells small pistol .45 ACP brass. It is called East Coast Brass. The prices are not to shabby either. For cleaned and processed SPP .45 ACP brass, the cost will run you about $100/1000.

Kentucky Gun Company has 8# kegs of varget and a few others in stock. Retumbo, 414 etc. just walked through real quick and grabbed my varget. They do ship, most of the time their website isn't updated though as it sells out quick. You guys may want to give them a call. Thankfully they are just around the corner from me. www.kygunco.com

Ramshot TAC! Imagine that! I went to Sportsman's Warehouse today, just looking around......hoping to find some rare powder.....and found that they didn't have a trace of powder anywhere.......or did they? So I'm looking at the handguns and this guy behind the counter who just happened to be the guy from whom I bought a Ruger 223 black gun there a few months ago, says......"you load don't you?" I said, "well I try when I can find some powder." He sez, "you know about the list don't you?" "What list?" Then I find out that the company doesn't display powder anymore.....they keep a list of what's in stock behind the gun counter and you have to ask to see it. So I ask. Came home with their last lb of Unique (this week) and 2 lbs (maximum allowed) of Ramshot TAC! The TAC was $26/lb........I missed an 8 pounder by a day. Sez he, "come in every Friday....by afternoon the list is replenished with the order that comes in every Friday morning!" Hell of a thing keeping such things secret...I ask why the list? He said that they are trying to prevent the same 5 people from buying it all. Works for me. This is Saturday....one day after Friday......geeeeze! It might behoove you all to start some inquiring at your local stores......who knows what you may find out.

Things are looking a little better have found more powders available at several places on line:
Powder Valley: AA 2015 #1, 2200 #1, 2460 #1, 2495 #1 & 8, 4350 #1 & 8, Mag Pro #8 - Hod US869 #1 & 8, H414 #1 & 8 - IMR 3031 #1, 4320 #1 & 8, 7828 SSC #1 & 8.....
Sportsman's Warehouse: AA 2015 #1, Mag Pro #1, 2460 #1, 4350 #1 - Hod US 869 #1 & 8 - IMR 3031 #1 & 8, 4759 #1, 4320 #1, 7828 SSC #1 & 8....
Natchez: AA Mag Pro #1, 2015 #8 - Hod H414 #8, IMR 3031 #1 & 8, 4227 #1 & 8, 4320 #1 & 8, 7828 both standard and SSC in #1 & 8....
So things might seem to be looking up. My quest for RAMSHOT is in vane. Their is a line in Saving Private Ryan when given the task Tom Hank's character says " IT LIKE FINDING A NEEDLE IN A STACK OF NEEDLES " sigh I haven't found my needle from the stack of needles. But according to Western Powder Company they are still shipping at numbers higher than the last 4 years I wish I knew were it was going so I could dip into the pool.

X-treme bullets has a no shipping charges sale going on until the end of the month.
If anybody finds an online source with American Select powder let me know please. I have been using everything else for a while and would like to get back to my favorite. I use it in .40, 9mm, and shotshell loads. Been a super clean powder. Thanks

If you want rl22- check out that Ky Gun Co link a few posts up. Looking at his shelf the other day there was at least 200#'s of that stuff with dust on it. Been there for months as they keep scooting it over and pistol and uber popular rifle powder comes in, not sure on price though but he's usually very competitive with the big names.

The American reloading has gotten a bunch of bad reviews lately, a quick search of the web turned up a few. Customer service was generally up to par, but some of the products were sub standard or not checked before they left the warehouse.
Just FYI , as I haven't ordered anything from them.

I've ordered 9 an 45's and have been happy with them. Seen a lot of pksts on other forums, especially on calguns, where I first learned about their sales. Havent bothered to count them but some have and posted they got about 50 extra bullets to make up for any damaged ones. Quality seems about like the pjctures they post on the site. Only complaint I have seen is the shipping times, mine took 13 days to be delivered. Could only find one review . www.waguns.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=65151Here is a handful of the ones I got

Bob, I appreciate your post here, but a revival of this thread is interesting from a historical perspective. It's really been a long time since "normal" !
