Just got my order from Midway today, after many hours of research about case trimmers, I decided on the L E Wilson with the built in micrometer adjustment. I have not been able to use it for production yet, but I did get it set up, bass ackwards at first, but set up. Everything about this little bugger says QUALITY! Even the packaging was exceptional. I can tell just by the feel of it, I made the best choice. Deciding on mounting choices is now in front of me, I am considering a moderate size laminated wooden block that can be clamped down, yet be removable/portable because of space limitations, on my benches. I dont think a permanent mount is needed here, unless you guys know something I dont. As always Input is greatly appreciated.

The Wilson trimmer does look like a well made tool,I don't have one but the pictures make it look good. Every one of my reloading tools including two Uniflow powder measures and trimmer are moveable except the two presses. I find this very convenient an efficient for my reloading which as I said in another thread averages 20-50 cartridges a week.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

I'm generally in agreement with Bob- I have most of my stuff on blocks and use bolts with wingnuts through the bench to hold them. Most don't move very often, but it's nice to have the option. I have one of the basic Wilson trimmers, and used it mostly for my match stuff back in the day. (The Lyman trimmer just gets adjusted for whatever's going on any given day.) Enjoy it. There's really something about a good tool.
