OK. Here's the next head scratcher in my reloading endeavors...
I mentioned a while back that I would be combining the case expansion and powder charging steps into one process in station #2 on my Pro2000 with the RCBS Case Activated Pistol Powder Expander, pictured here:
It works really well actually, and I've appreciated being able to use my Lock-Out Die in station #3 for added safety and being able to use my Bullet Feeder Die in station #4 to eliminate using my hand. But I've noticed that over time after about 25-30 cases, it seems the cases get really "sticky" on the expander and don't release from the expander smoothly for the rest of the reloading session. I'm sure heat of expanding the brass has something to do with it, but I've also read where cases that have been wet tumbled have a greater tendency to do this. The cases I'm currently reloading were wet tumbled.
So until I have a better solution, what I've starting doing is once I start feeling the cases stick, I spray a little Dupont Teflon Multi-Use Lubricant on my fingers and lightly coat the expander. This works really well for about 30 cases and then I have to do it again around the same time I have to put more bullets down the tube of my Bullet Feeder Die.
Question.....Is there a better or more appropriate lubricant I can use that will last longer than approximately 30 cases?
Thanks y'all.....

I would try either graphite or the Imperial case neck lube for less possible contamination of the powder, although Teflon may also ne innert,

I know their are guys out there that don't like the Imperial sizing wax but I use nothing else. A little goes along way!

Dan, I do love Imperial.....except for when I have to size MG LC brass that I tumbled in wet stainless steel. Can't explain it, but RCBS Lube on a pad or even STP works on that stuff where Imperial just gets your brass stuck. For the op's need and 99% of other lube needs I agree with using Imperial.

GWS do you use the stp on a lube pad?... Sounds interesting. Ever use it in a lube die? The rcbs lube is a pain to get in the die, and out of the bottle for that matter.
