Anyone have or handle one of these? The eldest step son is trying to be slick LOL. He just bought one in 7RM knowing I would never run out of 7RM stuff LOL. He off loaded his normal hunting rifle a Win Mod 70 in 264 Win Mag.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

You could give him a bad moment by announcing that you're giving up 7mm bores to go exclusively with .30 cal stuff. Of course, we'd know better !

When they come out I am looking into the new IMR powders. They seem to cover all of the calibers I load for at this time. Then he will be SOL again. He called me this morning and told me he ordered 100 ea Hor 154 innerloks, 150 Nos part, bt's, ct's and 145 and 160 Spr btsp's. He found some IMR7828 and Accurate Mag Pro he said he bought #8's of each.

The step son shot a few dozen rounds from this rifle Sunday and I am not impressed at all. 150gr Nos Partitions over IMR7828 and Mag Pro produced groups over 2". Granted it is a new barrel and he is still working up a load for it but I would have expected better from a Browning or is that wishful thinking. The barrel also must have one of those new fangled copper magnets as it fouled out badly. I have no idea how many rounds he fired to get it that fouled but I would imagine it was quite a few he dropped off 100 pieces of brass to be sized and cleaned.

Chuck, Looks like you'll be doing combo searching to see what the rifle likes. Different powders or bullet brands/weights or both. I have to say that it was luck and I mean luck that I found the combo that works in my Rem. 700BDL with Ram Line stock in 7mm-08. Have to let us know how things turn out.

Gary he is using my stuff dies press etc but all I am doing is offering guidance in this venture based on my experience with the caliber.
Not a clue Dan he loaded them up and went to a range he shoots at in a different town if I had to guess I would say NOPE.......
