Ok I know Gary has picked up this habit and it is a habit I have always had. They preach safety glasses when loading and I have only seen gloves mentioned sporadically in loading manuals. I picked this up for a few reasons when I started. I worked in the solid waste industry for most of my adult life and we were tested twice yearly for lead exposure. I just naturally took to wearing gloves as an added benefit for lead but it also keeps skin oils off your brass and keeps your finished products clean (vanity is a b--ch sry) which I like. So do any of the rest of you wear glove weather myoflex or just plain old latex when loading?

Yep Chuck I now wear them thanks to to and our late friend Bob Kennedy aka EMTCBag. I get mine at a Harbor Freight up the road nice price to. I also do a limited amount of wood working and use them there also. I think mine are of the latex type.

I can't remember ever even hearing anyone suggest wearing gloves when loading until now. I never have, and after this long am probably not likely to change. I am, and always have been, religious about hand washing after my tasks are complete or before eating etc. I really think more is made of these issues than the risks warrant unless you are doing it all day every day for a living or something similar.
Just my opinion.....I sure won't try and talk anyone out of doing it but I just can't get that nervous about my level of exposure.

Chuck, I searched for 'myoflex' but don't find them? I've been using Nitrile gloves from Sam's. Ed/

Ultramag when I started loading I was also working in the solid waste industry were you never knew what was in the containers you were picking up at demo sites. All of the waste companies were required by law to test all drivers for lead exposure twice a year. I just carried over the gloves to my loading. I also wash my hands multiple times a day and always before eating I was just wondering if anyone else here did.
Eagler they are Microflex not myoflex sorry brain fart they are made of 8 mil nitrile. Been a long day sorry......
