Went to the Vallejo,California yesterday, Loading components were available in reasonable levels except for bullets, which I didn't find, I really wasn't looking that hard. Prices for the components were ok and the available .22s were on the high side of ok $55/500 they were not the good Winchester Power Point but the solid lead probably good for beer cans and paper. There was a seemingly large amount of 5.56mm and 7.62 mm don't know about price though as I don't use the stuff. Attendance was actually low to moderate. I'm afraid my report is not up to Ken's but oh well!

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Bob, you can only report what you see. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for prices to come down on .22. The scalpers are going to hold out a long time, and I suspect that a lot of folks are still picking up more than they need immediately. Although I am all for participation in such events, it may be a good sign that things aren't as frantic as they were (see my post-Thanksgiving post.). The world is truly awash in 5.56/.223 these days !

I have been really busy this weekend doing yardwork and prepping for the Christmas season. I just came in from putting up the lights outside.
I did not go to the Vallejo Gun Show on 06-Dec-2014.
Code of the West now has a new venue over at San Jose which is much closer to where I live. I went to the inaugural show a few weeks back, and I saw most of the same vendors as over at the Vallejo show.
I will be attending the San Jose venue and see how it goes.
