Does any body have an "exploded view" for this pistol? I disassembled one of mine, but unfortunately, had an emergency and did not write down the position of the parts for reassembly. Any help would be appreciated. Merry Christmas everybody! Lex

Lex, Hello my friend and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you. OK back to your quest. I found one on Numrich Gun Parts Corp. This is a very helpful place as in obtaining parts and they have exploded views for almost any gun you can think of. Here is the view you are looking for. www.colt-gunparts.com/coltmodel1908.html

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Lex, Merry Christmas ! Santa's Helper, and Master Coffee Brewer, Hacker has already sent you to what I would have suggested. For the benefit of others reading this thread, in addition to being systematic about how I lay out parts during disassembly, and taking notes like you do, I make a lot of use of the digital camera as I disassemble-if I don't use the pictures, the cost is pretty negligible. Hope the '08 goes back together better than ever !

Numrich is the best.
