I seems our local county DA has decided that a "no case"or not guilty finding by the court system is not to his liking. A local doctor shot an attacker at or in his own garage, the DA personally is now prosecuting the case because the Dr. has 50 guns in his house and is therefore predisposed to violence. I have written the NRA about this. If you want more information about the issue I will go further after dinner.

Evidently this DA is from the Progressive Communist Socialist Dictator organization. I would ask if he had more than five knives in his kitchen drawer and if so he his predisposed to violence. This DA is like the rest of the nut jobs that run your state. No offence to the ones that do have common sense intelligence I know they trying to help turn it around. These anti's are in every facet of government from DC on down to the local level. If you read my post on one of our state reps wants to ban any type of target that resembles a person yep even the B-27 silhouette and of course LEO and military and security people are exempt. His reason; his ban will help reduce gun violence. I'll bet he can't come up with any stat to back his claim up unless he lies about it. I would also ask this DA in your county what for certified stats on owning a certain amount of firearms relates to his bogos claim.

That is good. You might want to look to see if GOA (Gun Owners of America) the Second Amendment Foundation and others to see if they can help in this matter.

I am going to try California Rifle Pistol Assn. as it a local matter also, oddly enough, the courts seem to remember there is in fact a constitution and laws that allows for self defense!

Bob I once lived in a town in South Jersey that decided that anyone that lived in that town and hunted had to register at the municipal hall to include all the types of hunting they did firearms owned had to be registered also. I did not know this before I moved in to the town and a neighbor saw me unload a gun cabinet and cased firearms which got me a visit from the local police. The officer didn't like it when I told him to F-off and get off my property. That house went back up for sale 2 weeks after we moved in.
I think that most of us would agree that criminals and people with mental disorders shouldn't be allowed to own guns. However their are folks out their that think just because you own a firearm you are going to shoot up a gathering place. I hope like hell this DA get his ass handed to him and if it is an elected position he looses his state check.
