I just made another milsurp purchase. This time it is a Lee Enfield Mark V No.1 ... otherwise known as the Jungle Carbine. I was inspired to get me one of these because I was pointed out to this model of Lee Enfield by a friend of mine at the San Jose gunshow. When I saw the Jungle Carbine, I knew that I had to have one of these. Here is the left profile. Here is a right profile. Rear sight, (ghost ring shown in the down position) Rear sight flipped up with action open Rear sight flipped up action rear view Rear sight flipped down, bolt open side view View of the action, bolt open I can now definitely see how collecting old milsurp and antique firearms can become something of an addiction.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Ken, NICE score!!! I also like the jungle carbine. It is one fun rifle to shoot and nice handling also. Out of the M1 carbine and the Enfield carbine the jungle carbine fit me better. I shoot the jungle carbine better that I do with the M1 carbine.

Also; I really wanted to have an Enfield in my collection. Now I do. Thanks; Ken

Ken, Yes I have shoot the jungle carbine as the regular Enfields. I have had the opportunity to fire different military firearms from around the world that were used in WWI and WWII. A very good friend of mine was a military arm collector.
