I had put this video up on the "Hub" and thought perhaps someone here might benefit. (The video may be jerky depending on your internet speed.) Click the picture to see the video... Ed...

ealger, Dang, I caught a glimpse of the canoe you built. I was going to show off a skiff I built awhile back but after seeing your cedar strip canoe. I think I'll just keep my skiff pictures to myself. That is a gorgeous canoe. Wow You have some serious skills.

Thanks Dan for the kind words. That canoe is actually the 2nd I built. The 4th is still in progress in the shop. Being retired is great!

Wow ! Now that is just way to cool, this idea is just awesome. A fast and efficient way to install the equipment.

Pretty slick idea Ed. That would be especially handy for someone wanting to do a lot with a little space.

That idea will come in handy when I move to the RV. Thanks again!

Ed, I just looked at your bench video today then saw your other works. You are a craftsman !! I am also going to use your "T" track idea although posibly inverted.

Thanks Bob for the words. You could put the T-Track recessed in the bench OK, but for me the placement of the knob on top near the tool may be a problem.
I've since put a 2nd bolt in front of the first, near the front edge of the bench. This allows the hold down for heaver tools like the RCBS Summit press and other tools.
Let us know how you make out if you do plan on putting the track on the bench.
