I told you about succumbing to an episode of I.F.P.S., well I sent the money order priority mail having been told 1 -3 day delivery with likely next day delivery. Guess what, I sent the MO Monday and the recipient has yet to receive it, I tracked it and he should get it Monday morning. Fortunately he wasn't in a hurry and I also kept him updated, it took 3 days to get out of Beaumont, Texas. So much for priority mail!

Bob, stuff happens at the worst times... Glad you've got a reasonable seller. Helps if you can quote them a tracking number. This tale notwithstanding, I've had good luck with priority mail. Back when I was running pretty hardcore, I'd routinely order shoes from a supplier in California late on Wednesday, and have them unfailingly in hand Satruday morning. Of course, that's not as important as a new rifle !! Hopefully, the Karma will play out, and this will be your share of troubles with the rifle !

Sounds like a very slow snail. Keep us posted when you have it in hand.

Well the "priority" letter did in fact arrive on Monday< maybe they meant 1-3 weeks not 1 - 3 days. The seller sent me a picture of the envelope, his description was it had been through some sort of battle! Rifle arrived at the FFL today hope to see it tonight or tomorrow, the the 10 day wait. Really quite glad I didn't resist as there haven't been any No 1s in Hornet since and the No 3s are going for big money now.

I have 2 threads on the same topic (sorry about that). I finally saw the rifle and as described in "Large to Small" it is beautiful! Can't wait to shoot it.
