Well today I went to Cabela's for their Door Buster Sale which started at 8:00 AM and lasted for five hours. As those of you that get to Cabela's you know that only certain items are on sale for said time limit. They had certain handguns and a couple long guns on door buster. Sorry can't remember which ones as I don't have my sales flyer handy at present. The one thing I was most interested in was primers. They had Sellier & Bellot in LR_SR_LP_SP all in the standard form for $17.99/1000 regular price is $24.99 so I got 3 bricks. I would had bought more but had some other items to acquire. I didn't think I would get any primers because I did not turn the alarm on to get up early and was running two hours behind. but when I got there they were not as crowded and was able to get some primers. The last Door Buster Sale I went to arrived hour before they opened stood in line and they had staff there asking for a show of hands who was buying the 22lr. that was on the door buster sale. That sale was for 1,000 rounds for $49.99 and with a limit of two of these.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

Hey Hacker, interesting update. At that price, I'd have grabbed some of the S&B primers. The .22 price looked good-did you happen to see what they had ?

Pooh, The 22lr was last year at this time on the door buster sale. Then it was Win a 1,000 round brick and CCI/2-500 round bricks. I check my sale flyers out each time they come to the house just to see if they put 22lr on door buster again and when they do I tell the son-in-law and we would head down to get some. So far they haven't yet this year.

$50/1000 .22LR is very close to the pre-panic prices.

We visited a new Cabelas on the North-South Carolina border this weekend while we were in Charlotte for our nephews wedding. My son found a unicorn in the reloading section, PPU 7mm-08 Brass. They were kind of pricey, $53.99 for 100 pieces. He stood there trying to decide if he really needed them that bad but I made sure he bought a package. He's been looking for them for over a year and I wasn't going to let him leave without them. They had 3 packages of them but he only bought 1.
