Ok I own both American Sniper and Lone Survivor and have watched them both a few times. As much as I hate to admit it I really do not care for American Sniper. I know very few people that did not like or didn't care for American Sniper so I know I am in the minority in that. I did however think Lone Survivor was a very good movie. Head to head in my humble opinion it was the better story and movie. What do you guys think.
Maybe after this thread I may be inspired to buy a video of one of them, but then IMO sniping to me is a very dirty, but necessary business. No glory involved to kill other human beings no matter how necessary it becomes. My hat is off to those who fight and serve, thank goodness for them all, but so many spend the rest of their lives with nightmares. No glory in that either.
My daughter came from Missouri, my son and grand son, my wife and I had a nice dinner of grilled "porter house" pork chops, corn on the cobb, my son, G'son and I share 10/5. G'son is 4 minutes early though @ 10/4.
Pooh I hope you find to right house .
