Here in liberal Marin County a glimmer of hope showed up. Briefly some months ago a 72 yr. old Dr. shot and killed a man who, because of road rage, followed the Dr. and wife home and up their driveway and partially into the garage. The Dr. fired a warning shot which did not stop the intruder. Our D.A. dutifully prosecuted the Dr. on a manslaughter charge which the court found him not guilty. Our D.A. took the case on himself, as he wasn't satisfied with the out come, and took it to the Grand Jury. His rational, the Dr. had 50 guns and therefore was predisposed to violence. The Grand Jury indited the Dr. so the D.A. was off and running. Now the fun (good) part. The sitting judge not only repeated the not guilty finding but then in open court admonished the D.A. for revisiting the case skewing the facts and also with holding vital information from the Grand Jury insuring the indictment. The rule of law won. I hope some sort of punishment is prescribed for the D.A. (Dumb A#$).

Bob ~ Living here in Cali is a challenge to say the least. It's good to hear of these stories with a good out come now and then. It's just S-O-o-o liberal here . . . ~ Larry

Bob, Remember you posting about this incident and was waiting an outcome. The liberal DA was an anti-gun type of person and wanted the law abiding Dr. to be the bad guy. Well it blew up in his face. I applaude this judge for going by the law and not by a political agenda.
