I've Had My Dillon XL650 For years now,12 or 13, I just never posted anything about it till now, only because I don't have the pictures to back it up. I got pics, just need to figure out photobucket. Just before Sandy Hook, I decided it was time to get it set up and running. Couldn't have picked a worse time! My timing was impeccable as usual! As I have said before I had a catastrophic fire in my barn 13 +/- years ago, and other things took priority over my addiction/hobby. Someday I will finish up with the photobucket thing and try to post some pictures of my setup. During the heyday after Sandy Hook I spent a huge amount of time and money on E-bay, upgrading my equipment, I bought smart, in larger lots, then turn around and sold what I didn't need or already had. People were paying STUPID money just to get a set of dies etc., and I was able to capitalize on that many times, not bragging just saying. I spent most of today out there since I couldn't Mow (rain), cleaning brass and doing case Prep. By the way does anybody know where I put my .380 and .45 brass? I seem to have hidden it from myself! It is a great press at least for me, I have had just a few small issues with it (all operator malfunction), even though it was my fault Dillon stepped up to the plate with their NO B.S. warranty every time! I will try to post more, and get some pics up soon. Mostly I posted this simply because I got tired of seeing nothing in the Dillon section and felt obligated. LOL

Not sure if I shared this already or not. I have been a single stage shooter since the mid 60's. All of my handgun and rifle loading has been done this way. A little over a year ago I began shooting a lot of tactical handgun shooting in both 9mm and .45ACP. As you all know this type of shooting requires a LOT of ammo and these cartridges don't lend themselves to mass production very well on a single stage press. I used to load 50 to 100 rounds in a day. Well I ventured into progressive reloading with a Dillon Square Deal B press with set-ups for both cartridges. I can now load 1,000 rounds in the time I used to do the 100. I use eXtreme plated bullets and PowerPistol® powder (it measures so well). These bullets rather than the Hornady's I use for target pistol have dropped my cost per round significantly. This press is for straight wall cases only and that's fine for me. I still load all my rifle and my BIG bore handguns one at a time but have to say this Dillon press is a great tool. I still do all of my case prep in batches so when it's time to load I have plenty of components ready to go. You can really produce a LOT of ammo in a short time with good quality output.

Dillon is good stuff! Heck ... I do believe one cannot go wrong with any of the name brand reloading gear out there.
