Well I thought Glocks would eat anything you fed it. I was wrong. My son-in-law has said Glock and it ate all the factory ammo he fed it. Now come the reloads that I did. He bought 500 pieces of Rem 115gr JHPs I loaded them to the same COL as the Rem factory rounds I had on hand. we get to the range this past Sun. and every 2 to 3 would jam I said we have to try my factory loads and some other reloads. We loaded those reloads in my Firestar and they shot fine. I had 13 rounds left of the Rem. factory so we loaded a mag and all fired and cycled just fine in his Glock. I had some Hornady 124gr XTPs loaded in virgin Starline brass and they shot fine in his Glock and my Firestar. I did take notice today that even that the Rem bullets were all 115gr JHPs that there was a difference between the ones in the factory rounds compared to the bulk bought one. The hollow opening for the bulk one was a tad larger and the nose profile was different. The factory rounds being more sleek looking. I have read about 1911s not liking SWC type bullets unless you really work and tune the gun to shoot these. Has anyone else have a picky semiauto that doesn't do well with a certain bullet(s)?

Sorry to hear about your experience. What is the nature of the "jam"? Stove pipe, fail to close the slide, fail to feed?

Ed, Looks as they are hanging up on the feed ramp. These rounds worked fine in my Firestar but would jam in his Glock. The Rem. factory rounds worked fine in both guns. also looking at the feed ramp in his Glock you can see where they are hitting as there is residue from the bullet jacket. In all the factory rounds he did not see this before.

I had problems with a Kimber 1911 with some factory and some handloads, but I heard Wilson Tac. magazines cured the problem......they were right.....awesome mags.
I bought a Kahr CW40 that would not feed factory Speer Gold Dot 180's....period...mangled the hollowed tips badly!. I called Kahr. their reply? Find bullets that will feed.....no concern for the problem at all. Guess who doesn't recommend Kahr anymore......
