Cast Iron!....a new direction for Hornady! Look at this tank! What it lacks in beauty, it gives in beef. What's the good points besides beef? Well an open face is really a good thing and I sure don't mind the classic LnL feature.....

That is an interesting concept and design. It does look to be a strong press, not sure I like the spring assist though, I guess a person can get used to the "feel".

I do like the accessories that you can put on top like the chamfer tools and neck brush.

I generally like hornady products, but the only thing I'm impressed about with this new press is the cast iron construction.
While the case prep tools look impressive, wait until you scrape your forearm or hand over top of one when reaching for something behind the press. I still have the scars from the rcbs sizing die, I now place rubber stoppers over them.
Anybody check the price yet?

At Grafs.....$240, $550 with autoprime......with autoprime, an AP @$446 at Grafs is cheaper! Something's wrong here.

Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

I like the way they widened the opening, and it sounds like it's built like the Missouri. I'm skeptical about the spring assist, and while some may find it useful, I just don't see mounting the accessories on the press working for me. I read about it yesterday, and when I got robbed of half a day of deer hunting because my sidelock muzzleloader gets undependable in the rain, I took a side trip to the big gun store in the area. I'd really like to see how it feels. Truth of the matter, although I love to look, I'll probably die with my Rockchucker in my hand. (Sounds like John Henry !) I'll be interested in hearing what you guys come up with !
