Well? Anyone? Or how about a new Rifle? One I know has bought a new Ruger .308.......not just ANY Ruger .308......sigh.......not many guns get my juices flowing like this one......one guy is routinely hitting metal targets at 2200 yards with his .243Win version!......imagine what a 338 Lapua might do....

Greg, There is write up about the rifle in the American Rifleman August 2015. The price is out of my reach but if you compare to other out there in the marketplace it is very reasonable by that standard. As of that writing it comes in 6.5 Creedmoor and 243 and 308 Win. I'm not sure if they plan on any other calibers in this platform or not.

I will try again...for some reason it didnt post my quick reply. Shopruger.com had a 12 hour sign up for a drawing of this rifle, yesterday/black Friday, you pick from any of the above calibers. Im thinking it would look pretty good in my safe.

That one, a good friend of mine bought.....I'm really wanting him to invite me out to the range.....he says there is almost zero recoil!!! See if I can find a picture....ah yesssssss

Well the above mentioned BAR is in the Sept 2015 issue of The American Rifleman. Oh and said rifle is listed with a MRSP of $8,799. I thought I tag that on here for those that are drooling over this one. The write up is about John Browning's BAR from the start.

Greg, I would also like a gander at shooting it or an original BAR from the WWII era. I had the chance to shoot M1 Carbines, M1 Garands, 1919 30 cal machine gun, and just missed a chance at a Ma Duce. That ticked me off that I missed that chance.

Some of us have to be content shooting OPW's (Other People's Weapons). That is if we can find other people who have the ones we want to shoot and are willing to let us shoot them.

I hear you load and clear. My lucky friend is a Vietnam Vet....a battle weary one, nearly deaf from shooting artillery.....I don't begrudge him....he earned it.
