Well for the rest of the late small game season my son-in-law put up a challenge for me. We both have Savage model 93s in 22 WMR and he bagged a squirrel the other week so now it's to see who can get the most game using these rifles. Looks like I have my work cut out for me. He was the first to get game with his now up to me to see what I can do.

Should be a no brainer. You have the experience and are probably, at the very least, an equal if not better shot! Good Luck!

Well with the close of the small game for the 2015/16 season the son-in-law has me on this. He only got one bushy with his 22 Mag and my opportunities were not all that abundant. Since I was going for headshots on bushies I came up zero. Hey it was a fun challenge so next season is the next round.

Bob, As far as seeing bushies I think we both saw about the same amount. Waiting for them to sit still long enough to get a shot again about the same. Anyway it was a fun challenge. I'll have to see if he is up to a groundhog challenge for the spring and summer with the 22 Mags.
