I started it, well sorta! No Religion(unless you want to) but reasonable politics. The problem here is we are pretty much politically aligned.

Oh, I don't know......Trump, or Bush, or Cruz, or Rubio.......I think it could get testy....there is no safety in politics this year. And then there's Hillary and the socialist......heaven help America....maybe we need some religion this election! How else do you choose? Heck I don't understand the local two anomalies I know really well....people I like & respect, one a successful oil industry business man and one a good lawyer and avid shooter/gun nut. Both both are screaming liberal democrats from birth! In my pea brain, that doesn't even compute. Business and guns and democrats? I don't talk politics AT ALL with them. Their brains are wired different from mine. Even religion is safer than that.

OK how to choose. For myself it has to be one that would align with my moral values and in keeping with what our Founding Fathers sought for when they help fight against tyranny. One the believes in our Constitution all parts of it including the Bill of Rights as written. We also need someone with some business sense. Someone with a set of stones and not be a wuss on the world stage.

We had all those things in the last election.....America wouldn't vote for him. Take away the moral values and Trump does fit.....but we don't know for sure how he will stay on the 2nd amendment. I worry what he would do.....with his steel balls and no morals. Remember guns and dictators don't mix. Bush? Well....he could be tough if he got a Secretary like his brother did......Cheney......now there was the "stones" in that administration. Rubio?......He's a kid.....zero experience. He might bolt under pressure.....who knows him? Cruz?......nobody knows what he's thinking.....this week or any other, except that where the populism goes he goes.....as fast as he can. Show me I'm wrong, please. I'm too tired to think about the Dems....

I am by no means a Sanders advocate but I do find it interesting that as far left as he is he seems pro gun??? I wonder about Trump in that area( guns) as Greg said. Bush is too political and I think the country is tired of the politicos. The rest - all they do is ask me for money! I think what we need to do is to start right now and get people paying attention to the very local politics and elections as that is where the seed is sown for the future. One more item on my agenda is to get people, politicians in particular, to realize that we the people are not "their"(our representatives)constituents but rather they are "our" representatives, we own them and not they own us!

We just have to take a look at where socialism took guns in Europe and Britain. Remember, when Obama got elected he said he was pro guns......he flat out lied to get the Southern vote and it worked.

Hi Guys- better get on the line to your Senators to block *anyone* BO Plenty (if you remember that character, you've been around a while...) nominates to fill Justice Scalia's seat on the Supreme Court. Unless, of course, he nominates me ! Back to serious, this is a very bad development.

Makes you wonder if Obama & machine had him killed so they could finish the liberalization of the Court. I would not put it past them........bad development, you say?......a national disaster! Conspiracy theorists are probably right.
Pooh, I wish you were nominated.

Hmm, I was out in the wrecker this afternoon, I get too much time to think while I'm driving, well the very thought of the "machine" having him killed off, did cross my mind! So here is what I was thinking, and I hope to hell I am wrong! He nominates a "super" liberal to replace Scalia, pardons Hillary on some "Bravo Sierra" excuse, then, they together, fix the election (super delegates/New Hampshire), Hillary gets elected, and appoints him as a Supreme Court Justice, finally they finish shredding whats left of the constitution! The wheels are already in motion! I agree with others we do need someone like Trump, to step on some nuts! How is it that EVERY election cycle, I end up having to choose the "lesser of two evils"? I like most of what Trump says, but, at the end of the day, I don't think he can fulfill most of his promises. Hope that I am wrong about that too! Personally, I like Dr. Ben Carson, (a lot of common sense, instead of hot air) but I fear he's close to dropping out, if he hasn't already. We will see what South Carolina has to say, on Saturday.
