Give me a place to stand and a long-enough lever, and I will invariably break the lever.

And slug loading isn't rocket science. I don't do a lot of shot reloading, even though that's where I cut my teeth, but a few years back, I bought one of the Lee slug molds, and it was a piece of cake to put pretty good slug loads out there. Meanwhile, have fun !

Chuck, A very nice addition to your hunting needs. Yep that would handle your hog hunting no problem. Oh if you do decide to reload for it I will suggest you look over at Ballistic Products as to me they are the best source on anything shotgun and yes that includes slugs. They do have quite an assortment of slugs one can get to load. So here is the link to have a look. www.ballisticproducts.com/

Ok guys let me rephrase that I WILL NOT BE RELOADING for this firearm. I have zero desire in loading anything other than what I am already dealing with LOL..................

I fully understand the logic of not wanting to expand our reloading world. I fought my internal battle to not add any calibers in my handgun reloading for a long time . . . then my wife took up shooting 380 Auto. So much for my plan to not add any calibers. But in your case you would add a lot more than a set of dies. Good luck . . . but let us know when you start reloading for your new toy. In the mean time, BRING HOME THE BACON !

Chuck, never say never ! I predict in a few months, you'll be on here describing your minute of porky loads for it ! I do sympathize-I have a very few basic shotshell reloading tools and a few components around, so it wasn't a huge commitment to load up some slugs with the Lee system. Really like those Winchester 209 primers...

I told my wife that I would never waste time reloading shot shells...a few years later I have a trio of MEC's on the bench. 12,20, and now .410. Denial is the first stage.
